METHOD :
Cook the Pasta:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.Mix the Sauce:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly on top.Bake:
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.Garnish & Serve:
Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil. Serve warm and enjoy!
