METHOD :
1️⃣ Cook the Cranberries:
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, orange zest, and orange juice. Add a cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon if desired.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2️⃣ Simmer:
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens slightly.
3️⃣ Cool & Serve:
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy this fresh and flavorful cranberry sauce with your holiday meal!
