METHOD :
Preheat & Prepare:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Roll Out the Pastry:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle (about 10x12 inches).Add Fillings:
Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard (if using) over the pastry. Layer the ham slices evenly, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.Roll & Slice:
Starting from the long side, tightly roll the pastry into a log. Use a sharp knife to slice the log into ½-inch pinwheels.Bake:
Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.Garnish & Serve:
Let cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!Freeze (Optional):
To freeze, place unbaked pinwheels on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Transfer to a freezer bag and store for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
