Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies

METHOD :



1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

2️⃣ Shape the Cookies:

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Use your thumb or the back of a spoon to make an indentation in the center of each ball.

3️⃣ Add the Jelly:

Fill each indentation with a small dollop of jelly or jam.

4️⃣ Bake:

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
