Shortbread Cookies with Jelly Tots 🍬

 

METHOD :

1. Preheat & Prepare:
   Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the Dough:
   In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
   Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
   Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.

3. Shape the Cookies:
   Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
   Gently press 3-4 Jelly Tots into the top of each cookie.

4. Bake:
   Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

5. Cool & Enjoy:
   Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy these sweet, buttery treats!
