METHOD :



1️⃣ Make the Miso Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, mirin, sake, sugar, soy sauce, and grated ginger until smooth.

2️⃣ Marinate the Fish:
Place the black cod fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag. Pour the miso marinade over the fish, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.

3️⃣ Prepare to Cook:
Preheat your broiler and line a baking sheet with foil. Remove the fish from the marinade, shaking off any excess, and place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.

4️⃣ Broil the Fish:
Broil the fish for 8-10 minutes, or until the top is caramelized and the fish is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C).

5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with steamed rice and sautéed greens. Enjoy this melt-in-your-mouth dish!
