METHOD :
1️⃣ Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
2️⃣ Shape the Bunnies:
Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 12 inches long. Shape each rope into a bunny: form a loop for the head, twist the ends for ears, and shape the body.
Place the shaped bunnies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press a dyed Easter egg into the center of each bunny’s body.
3️⃣ Decorate:
Use raisins or chocolate chips for the eyes and sliced almonds for the ears. Press them gently into the dough.
4️⃣ Bake:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the bunnies with the egg wash (beaten egg mixed with milk).
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy this festive and adorable Easter treat!
