METHOD :
1️⃣ Prep Peaches:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, toss peaches with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
2️⃣ Make Batter:
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
3️⃣ Assemble:
Pour batter into a greased 9x13" baking dish. Spoon peach mixture evenly over the batter (do not stir).
4️⃣ Bake:
Bake 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
5️⃣ Serve Warm:
Let cool 10 minutes. Top with ice cream and enjoy!
Pro Tip: For extra caramelization, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end!
