  • 4 black cod fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 1/4 cup white miso paste

  • 2 tbsp mirin

  • 2 tbsp sake (or dry white wine)

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger

  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds
