METHOD :
1️⃣ Prepare the Ricotta:
- If using fresh ricotta, drain excess moisture by placing it in a cheesecloth-lined strainer for a few hours or overnight.
2️⃣ Mix the Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mascarpone (if using), powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Whip until smooth and fluffy using a hand mixer or whisk.
3️⃣ Add the Texture:
- Gently fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped pistachios for that classic cannoli crunch!
4️⃣ Chill & Serve:
- Refrigerate the filling for at least 30 minutes before using.
