Cannoli Filling recipe

 



METHOD :


1️⃣ Prepare the Ricotta:

  • If using fresh ricotta, drain excess moisture by placing it in a cheesecloth-lined strainer for a few hours or overnight.

2️⃣ Mix the Ingredients:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mascarpone (if using), powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Whip until smooth and fluffy using a hand mixer or whisk.

3️⃣ Add the Texture:

  • Gently fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped pistachios for that classic cannoli crunch!

4️⃣ Chill & Serve:

  • Refrigerate the filling for at least 30 minutes before using.
  • Pipe into cannoli shells, use as a dip with cookies, or enjoy as a dessert topping!
