Cheesy Garlic Scalloped Potatoes


  
Steps to make scalloped potatoes: prepping, saucing, baking.

  

METHOD :



1️⃣ Prep & Preheat:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13" baking dish.

2️⃣ Make Cheese Sauce:

Melt butter, sauté garlic 1 min. Whisk in flour to form a roux.

Gradually add milk and cream, whisking until thickened (~5 mins).

Remove from heat; stir in cheeses, salt, pepper, and paprika.

3️⃣ Layer & Bake:

Arrange ½ the potatoes in dish. Pour ½ sauce over. Repeat layers.

Cover with foil; bake 45 mins. Uncover; bake 20-25 mins until bubbly and golden.

4️⃣ Rest & Serve:

Let stand 10 mins before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs!
