🍪 Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

 


METHOD :


  1. Preheat & Prepare:
    Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.

  2. Cream Butter & Sugars:
    In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add Eggs & Vanilla:
    Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips:
    Stir in the chocolate chips (and nuts, if using) until evenly distributed.

  6. Scoop & Bake:
    Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.

  7. Cool & Enjoy:
    Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container.
