Classic Crepes Recipe 😋

 


METHOD :



  1. Mix the Batter:
    In a blender or mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar (if using), salt, and vanilla extract (if using). Blend or whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter rest for 15-30 minutes.

  2. Heat the Pan:
    Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.

  3. Cook the Crepes:
    Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the center of the pan. Quickly tilt and swirl the pan to spread the batter into a thin, even circle.
    Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges lift easily and the bottom is golden. Flip and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  4. Stack & Serve:
    Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter. Stack the crepes as you go, placing a piece of parchment paper between each to prevent sticking.

  5. Fill & Enjoy:
    Serve warm with your favorite fillings and toppings, such as fresh fruit, whipped cream, Nutella, or savory options like ham and cheese.
