German Blueberry Cake 🇩🇪

METHOD :



1️⃣ Prepare the Batter:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.

2️⃣ Add the Blueberries:

Toss the blueberries with 1 tbsp flour (optional, to prevent sinking). Gently fold them into the batter.

3️⃣ Bake the Cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

4️⃣ Cool & Serve:

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy this moist and fruity cake with a cup of coffee or tea!
