Homemade Churros

METHOD :



1️⃣ Make the Dough:

In a medium saucepan, combine the water, sugar, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce the heat to low and add the flour all at once. Stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball of dough. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until the dough is smooth.

2️⃣ Heat the Oil:

Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 375°F (190°C).

3️⃣ Pipe the Churros:

Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe 4-6 inch strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting the dough with scissors. Fry 3-4 churros at a time, turning occasionally, until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per batch).

4️⃣ Coat the Churros:

In a shallow dish, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Roll the fried churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture while still warm.

5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:

Serve warm with chocolate sauce or dulce de leche for dipping. Enjoy these crispy, sugary treats!
