Moist and Tender Vanilla Buttermilk Cake 🍰

 



METHOD :


1-Preheat & Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan or two 9-inch round cake pans.


2-Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.


3-Cream Butter & Sugar:

In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.


4-Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk and whole milk. Mix until just combined (do not overmix).


5-Bake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan(s) and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes (for round pans) or 30-35 minutes (for a 9x13 pan), or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.


6-Cool & Glaze:

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with optional glaze before serving.
