METHOD :
1️⃣ Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Meat:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and Thai chilies, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the ground meat and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
3️⃣ Add Vegetables (Optional):
If using, add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
4️⃣ Combine and Simmer:
Pour the sauce and chicken broth into the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add the fresh basil leaves and stir until wilted.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Serve the Pad Krapow over steamed jasmine rice, topped with a fried egg. Garnish with sliced cucumbers or lime wedges if desired. Enjoy this flavorful Thai classic!
