INGREDIENTS :


For the Sugar Syrup:

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) water

For the Meringue:

  • 4 large egg whites (about 120g), room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • Pinch of salt

For Finishing:

  • 1 1/2 cups (340g) unsalted butter, softened but cool
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or other flavorings)
