🧁 Chocolate Cupcakes

 


METHOD :


  1. Preheat & Prepare:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add Wet Ingredients:
    Add eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
    Gradually add hot water and mix until the batter is thin but well combined.

  4. Bake:
    Fill each cupcake liner about ⅔ full with batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  5. Cool:
    Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  6. Make the Frosting:
    In a large bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy.

  7. Frost & Decorate:
    Pipe or spread the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes. Top with sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder.
