METHOD :
Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.Fry the Chicken:
Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.Make the Sauce:
In a saucepan, combine hot sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.Coat the Chicken:
Toss the fried chicken in the firecracker sauce until evenly coated.Garnish & Serve:
Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve hot with rice or your favorite side.
